1990 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet (964)

“964” is Porsche’s internal code for its next model following the 911. Having about 85% of its parts different, the 964 is considered to be a redesigned successor of the classic 911.

Carrera 2 is lighter than its 4 wheel drive sibling (Carrera 4), allowing it to be more fun to drive, sportier, and some say it is qualified to be called a “true” successor to the classic Carrera 3.2. The 964 gen is also the first 911 equipped with ABS and power steering. The Cabriolet version is best for those who want the 911 experience with some fresh air.

This 1990 Carrera 2 Cabriolet is wrapped in white but is actually Guards Red under the wrap. It is also equipped with a Tiptronic gearbox with manual override function. As one of the best models of Porsche and with its 3.6L engine and 250 bhp, it can go from 0-60mph in just 5.7 sec. A ride with this open-top can truly be fascinating. It is difficult to describe the thrill when the wind and fresh air rush through your hair on the mountain roads under the background of its roaring engine.
